Porcelain Veneers in Springfield, MO

Discolored, chipped, misaligned, and irregularly-shaped teeth are some common dental issues that compromise the aesthetics of a person. If you are dealing with any of these problems, porcelain veneers may resolve the issue.
Porcelain veneers are thin shells that are custom-made for you. They cover the front surface of your teeth to enhance the appearance of your smile. They are strong, durable, and less vulnerable to chipping and fracture than resin veneers.

When Do You Need Porcelain Veneers?

Discolored Teeth
We use porcelain veneers to fix teeth that have been discolored by root canal treatment, excessive fluoride, large resin fillings, consumption of certain medicines, or use of tobacco.

Worn Enamel
Consuming beverages, smoking, and some medications make enamel dull and worn out. We use veneers to restore the aesthetics of your teeth.

Wear and Tear
Veneers are also used to hide cracks, chips, and uneven appearance of your teeth caused by their wear and tear or external trauma.

Misaligned and uneven teeth
We use veneers to fix the abnormal spacing of teeth Or the uneven appearance of your teeth.

Porcelain Veneer Procedure

Diagnosis and Treatment Planning
During your consultation visit, we will examine your teeth and evaluate whether or not porcelain veneers are suitable for you. We will take an X-ray and plan the treatment.

Preparation
We will remove the surface of your teeth to accommodate their veneers and then take a digital impression. We will then design your veneers while you wait and mill and finish them in our in-house lab.

Bonding
We will check the veneers’ fit and color and achieve the proper fit. We will clean, polish, and etch the surface of your teeth to prepare them to receive the veneers. Next, we will bond the veneers to your teeth using special dental adhesives. We will check your teeth, remove excess adhesive, check the bite, and make required adjustments.
